Holy cow, my collection of short stories, 25 TRUMBULLS ROAD, won the 2018 Black River National Chapbook Competition, sponsored by Black Lawrence Press. It’s a short collection of really creepy stories meant to get under your skin. According to Richard Thomas, author of the award-winning thrillers Disintegration and Breaker, 25 TRUMBULLS ROAD is “A haunting, surreal, visceral collection of tales that is lyrical and poetic, while not losing its bite. Christopher Locke has channeled the ghosts of Matt Bell, Denis Johnson, and Jac Jemc, while retaining his own unique voice.” Wow. I couldn’t be more proud! The book comes out February 2020, so stay tuned.
